- けいさつよびたい【警察予備隊】警察力を補うという名目で， 朝鮮戦争勃発直後の1950年（昭和25）ポツダム政令により設けられた機関。 事実上の軍隊を目指したもので， 52年保安隊に改編， さらに54年自衛隊となった。
